Misha: 50 weeks

Teething
Her top front left tooth has made an appearance.

Nursing
I think because of her teeth she is having to adjust how she nurses. For a few days I had sore nipples and I could see her latch wasn't very good (the lipstick shape again). Luckily it was only for a few days.

Eating

 doidy-czerwony-1
I started letting her have cow's milk. I use a doidy cup and its only like 30 ml just to get her used to the taste. I decided not to bother with formula since she was quite resistant to it.
Solids are going well. Sometimes she takes almost 7 oz. of food. But this is usually when we're outside and she is distracted by all the things going round her. At home she will usually start to fuss towards the end and I usually get her to finish up by singing songs (her favourite still seems to be ''Wheels On A Bus"). She also eats faster when Meera is around (another distraction).

Sleeping
Still taking 2 naps. I notice that during the weekends her first nap can be between 2-2.5 hours. Maybe because I put her down later (3.5 hours wake time or more).
She still doesn't seem to nap long in the stroller. We went to Kidzania during the weekend so we left the house early morning. She took a nap in the stroller but as usual it was around 30 minutes and it was way past her usual nap time. Luckily she was fine with that nap and lasted till we got home in the afternoon.

Milestones
She is trying to stand on her own now. Sometimes she can do it for a brief second. She will also walk while I hold her hands but only like a step or two before she lets go and sits back down. Her favourite thing to do is push our dining chairs all over the place...who needs a walker ;)

Personality
This week she started giving some strange smiles to her. We call it her fake smile. She will look at you  smiling and then give you a bigger smile. So cute!
Lately it's becoming a real challenge to change her. She is not content to lie there while I change her diaper and clothes. Sometimes she cries so hard you would think she was in physical pain!  For some reason, putting stuff on my head seems to distract her (clothes or diaper). I try to give her something to hold but she'll usually just fling it away...
