Misha: 45 weeks

Milestones
She started cruising this week

Hospital visit
Took her for her follow up visit for her neutrophil count. It dropped to 1.02 so we will have to come back in 3 months for another follow up. Sigh...
As usual the doctor reminded me that if she has a fever above 37.5 we have to bring her in to emergency and get her started on antibiotics. Fingers crossed we never have to face this issue.
Her weight was 7.31kg so the machines are quite accurate.

Sleeping
This week was better. Hardly cried when I put her down.

Nursing
This week we didn't even try to feed her with a bottle. I have decided that I will nurse her till a year and then slowly introduce fresh milk to her and skip bottles altogether. I will still try to give her formula with a cup but I'm not gonna force the issue. I figure whatever we're doing so far is working (she is healthy) so I don't want to rock the boat.

Bath time
Since Daddy no longer feeds her at night...I figured he would give her a bath before bed. So now we sometimes do 2 baths in a day. In our weather it's actually a good idea (she also seems to sweat a lot).  I wanted him to have a special time of day with her and since she's not taking bottles anymore I thought giving her a bath would be something good to do.

Solids Pouch food (guava, blueberry, cherry), steamed minced pork, kiwi
I steamed the pork with chopped onions and she was quite okay with chewing it. She has been eating quite well lately. Usually 6 oz of porridge. Sometimes I don't even have to mix it up with fruit and she eats it.

Playtime
I took her to Mothercare at BSC for her first Playtime session. The class is for 9 months and above. Most of the stuff they did was a bit above her capabilities but I think it's good to get her exposed to it early. She loved it when they blew bubbles!
